Water Softener for Opal
We see a lot of consumer frustration (and potentially returns of product) that are tied to consumers not descaling. The need for descaling and the frequency at which it should be done is based entirely on water hardness. We should solve the water hardness problem for Opal consumers. Create a small-scale water softening system that can be attached to a 1.0 or 2.0 model that softens the water BEFORE it is run through the Opal. This will keep water lines and the inner holding/water treatment tank free from scale buildup. The other option would be to have a portable water softener that can be used to pretreat water before it is added to ANY Opal model.
