Woodworking 101: Bookmark
In this hands-on introductory class, you’ll learn the essential workflow of a woodworking project from rough lumber to a finished piece you can take home. Our technicians will guide you step-by-step as you make a solid wooden bookmark, while getting practical experience on the key machines and tools used in a woodshop. By the end of class, you’ll have:
- A completed wooden bookmark
- A clear understanding of the basic wood milling and shaping processes
- Confidence using several foundational wood shop machines safely and correctly
