Vintage ice box
Low cost, time tested method of refrigeration that utilizes a block of ice to keep stored perishable food cold
Who
Homesteaders and other people who live without electricity (or a consistent source of it i.e blackouts), Museums and historical demonstrators, people looking for extra low cost food storage and a conversation piece
What
Reproduce the product with modern materials but with a vintage look for sale
How
Allows low cost and safe food storage without the need for electricity, would bring nostalgia to many people, when used at museums and historical displays it would educate people about food storage prior to modern refrigeration.
Competitors
There are a few old originals but the vast majority are in extremely rough shape, with a few that have been restored that sell for a very high price. It would be a nice item to bring back even if only for a niche market at first it could easily become more popular
