Swim Suit Dryer
A swim suit dryer that doesnt spin your suit and mess it up expensive tech suits for training and meets. Quiet, low energy and simple construction.
Who
This idea would help anyone who swims, from the women who do water aerobics to competitive swimmers to toddler swim lessons. Swim suits are expensive and they also often get ruined by being left in wads in your bag, wrapped in a towel or in a hot car. Mold is the enemy! You also cannot put a swim suit in the dryer if you want it to last more than a few washes.
What
I got a new ventless dryer and it gave me an idea. Why couldn't we create a perforated metal tube structure that would circulate either just air or warm (not hot) air and would dry the suits more slowly, but would just blow air through them. It would drip some initially, but would evaporate most of the water, especially in high tech suits.
How
The benefits of this idea are less space, less unsightly for design purposes, probably drying towels as well as suits, quieter, more efficient, and will make suits last longer. Also they wont need to be drained, or have access to the plumbing system, like the spinning dryers.
