Dog walking attachment for bicycle
We used to have two yellow labs that really needed and craved exercise. Walking was not enough. Initially, I tried to hold the leash while holding onto the handle bars, but my dog did a u-turn and I ended up crushing a couple of ribs. I needed a device that would hold the dog near my bicycle, but would not let him deviate from the path. It also Had to be flexible and resilient. I made two such devices, one using plastic pipe, a spring, some nuts and bolts, and connecting hardware. Our second lab blew the plastic pipe apart and I remade it using metal pipe. I got many complements on the device. I can make a drawing if you would like.
