Meet Paragon
Traditional cooktops have settings of low to high, but just like baking, precise and consistent temperature is a must to craft the best dishes. Temperature directly affects the flavor of ingredients and is the secret to cooking like a pro.
In order to bring precision to the cooktop, the engineers at FirstBuild have designed the ultimate cooking system. The Paragon gives you flexibility to precisely control pan temperature with the mat, or liquid temperature with the probe. Whether experimenting with sous vide or cooking the perfect pancake, Paragon gives you the tools to do it right the first time - and every time.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Paragon
-
How is Paragon different from typical induction cooktops?
Most cooktops only have Low/Medium/High settings for controlling heat. The Paragon brings precision control to the user by controlling the specific temperature of the cookware or liquid instead of the arbitrary Low/Medium/High settings.
-
Does the Paragon cooktop get hot?
Although the Paragon cooktop uses induction heating instead of direct heat, the cooktop will get hot after extended exposure to hot cookware. Please ensure to use all appropriate kitchen safety items like oven mitts and gloves when necessary. Let the cooktop cool down completely before stowing away.
-
Can I use the Paragon System outdoors?
No, the Paragon System, including the cooktop, Mat, and Temperature Probe are not designed to be used outdoors.
-
How big is the Paragon System? How much does it weigh?
