The University of Louisville students that work at FirstBuild got the opportunity to make the Board of Trustees their new nameplates. We started by coming up with five ideas and then narrowed them down to three. From there we made the three prototypes and decided we wanted to make something that was unique to the university. The final design was a piece of 1/8″ stainless steel cut out on our AMADA Laser then engraved on our SIC laser. The base was made out of Walnut and had two pieces so that the plate would sit at a angle. Check out some of the pictures from the process:
